If that is a giant tree... then it looks like someone used a giant chain saw to bring it down! 🤔

Nice joke. But, the truth is, this is evidence of two levels of flood waters, at least. One, the planed off top. Two, all the other rock missing around this old volcano core. It's also evidence for a youthful earth and not much time having passed since the flood. At the current rate of erosion (locals hearing pieces fall off every year, freeze-thaw, heat-cold cycles), if this volcanic core was millions of years old it wouldn't be there. At best there'd be a pile of basalt at the base. Finally, regarding UFOs. There are two types of UFOs. The first are anti-gravity levitated and driven military aircraft. The second are displays by inter-dimensional beings known as demons.

Been to "Bear Lodge" in Wyoming six times so far. (aka devils tower) Yes I would believe it to be a tree stump before I would believe the "volcano" story. Lava does not harden in hexagonal columns.

As a kid we heard of Devils Post Tower. Names change or rumor changed it... The tall sections are all crystals - and Ranchers used some for fence and housing. Tough material. Volcano neck that cooled slowly.

I have enjoyed both of your KGpost channels for some time now. My wife and I have been retired for 5 years now and enjoy traveling each year in our crew cab pickup, seeing our family and the beauty of our country. But Covid-19 put a temporary stop to that for now. Please excuse me if I ask a personal question. I was excited to see that you still drive when traveling and stay at motels the same as we do also. Is it difficult to find a restaurant or small town cafe for your meals while on the road or do you make up some meals while driving? I appreciate your help as this will help us in planning for future trips. Your newest family member, Archie, has really grown, consider recording a video of Archie, Ruger and Piper’s reaction of seeing you both again when you get home. Thank you both for the quality of work you put into your channels.

Mike and Melissa, if you're still in the Wyoming area, check out Cheyenne. The Union Pacific does tours of their Steam workshop, along with other historical Locomotives. Check out the UP 4014, and 844 locomotives on KGpost. Due to the Covid, they didn't run excursions, but maybe look into tours of the steam shop

Mike & Melissa, I'm definitely loving the 'travelogue' videos! Many of the places I like to visit every few years on my motorcycle. I hope you have safe travels home. Oh, one more thing, if you really want to see some huge cedar trees, come on out to my neck of the woods and visit the Ancient Groves & the Grove of the Elders. There are some truly massive trees there.

So, you did get a chance to stop at the Little Bighorn Battlefield. Wahoo! I thought you might like it. I spent quite a bit of time walking around there and got some great pictures. There are actually 2 monuments/historical markers there, one for the shoulders and one for the Indians. All of it was fascinating for me when I was there. I also stopped at the Devils Tower and while I was there some folk were climbing it.

Back in Livingston, if you was to head south to gardner you would be entering paradise valley down about 25 miles is debbie and I s old fishing spot we use to pull out 16 to 18 inch trout weighing around 3 to 5 pounds had to release the cut throats their the natives cant keep them until you came back out of the valley down to where the Yellowstone river divides then you can keep the cut throats back then you could only keep six fish per day per person we ate very well back then out here in south Dakota they have what we call trash fish over here by Sioux falls area, now over in Spearfish area they have trout cant wait to move ovet in that area for our lodge we want to build is half Wyoming and half south Dakota 20,000 in all its going to be great doing that hunting and fishing lodge anything that boosts the economy over there and puts people to work doing something they love doing raising, Elk, BigHorn Sheep, MuleDeer , and Beefalo plus all the birds for the shotgun hunters but the big animals will be raised for 5 to 7 years before they are released for hunting and thats Bow only fish and game are excited about what we are going to do and thats in both states well Enjoy your time heading home.

Keith, NC, thanks again for sharing. I've lived in NC until 1969, moved to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Spent 2 months in Sioux Falls, SD. and back to Iowa until 1975. Back to NC, for 6 months, then to Brownwood, Texas for 5 months, then back to NC. I won't move again. I live the country in NC. 4 seasons, flat lands and mountains, all covered with trees. NC is home. Mom and dad lived in Wooster, Massachusetts, and I flew once and drove once to visit. Most of the east coast is like NC's country. I care not for treeless, hot, dry rocky country. So, I'm glad I got to share your trip with you, these videos have been great. Thanks again, and I too will be glad when you are home safe. Glad you did this now because hell is coming to America. ❤

Ha I was right yall were home for the weekend and the building is going up?? Maybe not hmm.ok well that was my guess in yesterday's video that you were home and the building was being built because Mike said yall would get home just in time for the building to be built the following day. So looking forward to the videos to start dropping for that project. Mike with that kind of wall it will get very dusty with all the pieces of wood but the easy way to clean it is use you blower every now and then to blow it all off and blow it out the door once its on the floor. Ok i won't say safe travels because your home in bed because its 12:40 am here in NC and in Cranberry pa. . Sleep well and wake up spunky. 😆😅

Yes it's a tree stump ! the trees of the old times were made of silica , they have all been fossilised by the baking sun over time and are nothing like the carbon ones of today ! our biggest trees are mere saplings compared to the silica trees that grew to over a mile high and over 10 miles round ! one must understand that in those days the giants roamed the earth ! it would have been a small task to cut down one of these when your about 80 foot tall ! remember .... history is his-story and its all big fat lies that are stored in their lie-brary ! kgpost.info/will/video/spjDmoFpxWiGcdU

Always glad to meet another history buff. And you are right, we don't start appreciating history until we are older. I may be wrong but it seems like the younger generations are less and less knowledgable about our history. Could be due to our schools teaching revisionist history or no history at all.
