If you remove every other tine on the landscape rake it becomes very useful for maintaining gravel driveways. A couple of passes loosens the top layer of rock and evens it out, a quick pass with a heavy roller (I made mine from two old air compressor tanks filled with concrete) and it looks like new.

Hello Morgan Family. I have been following the Morgan's for a few months. Just want to try and compare apples. We purchased a steel building from steelbuildings.com in 2005. 46X72 red iron structure with 14 foot eaves. With 3 , 12 foot roll up doors, and 2 walk through doors and 3 inch insulation all around. and a 25X46 lean to of one end. We went with 8 inch concrete floor, with radiant, PEX floor heat. The building cost delivered was $22000.00. Even though it took about 5 months, we erected the structure our selves. Most contractors charge close to the labor as the cost of the building. You guys will love it! we have had church socials, kids play basket ball, and storage for every thing else. I put a 12X24 office with bathroom, and loft above. I went with the epoxy flooring $1200 for 3 coats, It has held up pretty good. I have a question for Melisa, does she work and if so what is her occupation? I know mike works for an oil Co. You guys seem to work real well together. Jonathan Alabama

Mike & Melissa, building looks fantastic, when you do your concrete will you seal it when done?if so be careful will be slippery with snow on your feet, & gasoline will dissolve the finish. Ever see concrete stamping? It will look great anyway you do it. Nice job, nice barn.

Was very surprised at the work you were able to get done with the landscape rake. I know you're more focused on the building, but I think you should talk about that rake in a future video. I've been wanting one but wasn't sure it would do enough to justify it. Thanks for the great videos.

Mike, I have seen a few people make an attachment plate for the loader end of their tractors so they could attach 3 point hitch items to the front loader on the tractor. The main reason for this, most of the time, has been to use the landscape rake you just bought on steep, hilly, excessively wet, or otherwise inaccessible areas with the machine. You can buy precut quick attach plates online for around $100 and I bet one or two of the welders at your work could throw the pin ears on during lunch for a few bucks if you could source the metal for the brackets from somewhere. good idea or bad is up to you to decide for your needs. They are rolling right along with your building, make sure to tell Melissa it is because of all the prep work you did. ;) You might could start roughing in for the services by Wednesday, if it doesn't rain. Have you called your local utility locating service to come out and mark your lines yet? Thanks for the videos, y'all have a good one.

Mike, I recommend going with a natural stone. If you use a slate type stone that fractures easily it is simple to lay and looks so much better. The fake stone just looks a bit hmmmm!.

Yes Mike cultured stone. Wirelath over PLYWOOD that iscovered with builders felt nail lath every 4 inches square scratch coat w mortar wire thickness. Lay out your stone on ground lick em and stick em after you butter up the back a little wiggle will help stone stick (suction) strike joints and brush. Keep joints equal but not too wide. You will figure it out

Mellisa your pool looks kinda odd hooked to the back of the smaller tractor oh im sorry thats a landscape rake not a POOL. I just no your starting to keep track of each tool someone thinks they need.😉😁 Oh and come spring time when that someone says well "WE" have spent to much getting the building done and getting the barrow pit back In mowing shape and all the other little things that had to be done . I see it like MAYBE SPRING OF 2022 IT MAY HAPPEN. But it may have to be one of those walmart blue blow up pools 🙃 heres a picture of that someone >>🤥

I've used a few of those cultured stone products, if you get direct sun light on them they will fade to cement color in a couple of years. They may have a U.V. spray that might let them hold color a little longer. Keep that in mind with your choice of product you want to use. Keep up the great content, love the channel. Take the concrete the full length of the building. That way you have a nice pad outside to wash vehicles or do maintenance outside on a pretty day. I wish my garage had an extension of the concrete since the inside has turned into storage/gym/game room. You won't regret it !!

Your raking skills are pretty good. As you found out it takes a lot of feathering and redoing to get a consistent surface the way you want it. Those branches/twigs really create problems with rakes like that. I'm wondering if a chain drag harrow would get you closer in a hurry. Those are the things that people use in riding rinks. All looks nice. Look forward to the pricing breakdown on the building. Cheers.
